You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining

  • 2+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis, including Python

  • Experience working in the IC using multi-INT data sources for analysis

  • Experience developing and deploying generative AI tools

  • Knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, or natural language processing

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

  • Bachelor's degreein a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with multiple intelligence types, including SIGINT, OSINT, ELINT, GEOINT, MASINT, or HUMINT

  • Experience with JEMA, Brewlytics, ArcPro, or other geospatial data analysis tools

  • Experience with common programming languages, including R, SQL, HTML, and JavaScript

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Job Description: Position Overview

We are seeking a Data Scientist to support the Department of Defense

(DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC). This role requires expertise in

processing and analyzing large datasets, as well as developing analytic

processes and automated workflows, scripting solutions, and data

modeling. The ideal candidate will apply their technical skills and

customer-centric approach to solve complex intelligence challenges. This

is a very interesting modernization effort that spans the entire data

life cycle. This is a development effort across sourcing fulfillment,

optimization, analytics, AI/ML, automation and visualization.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets to streamline

processes and address intelligence challenges.

Lead and refine analytic solutions, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate road map features into

components/tasks, estimate timelines, assess risks, and suggest

solutions.

Apply exploratory data analysis techniques to identify patterns and

trends in complex data.

Utilize data science techniques, including machine learning, statistical

Develop and optimize automated workflows for data processing and

Required Qualifications

Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/CI poly

Experience: relevant experience in data science, analytics, or related

fields with experience supporting geospatial IC operations (combination

of experience and certifications can substitute for a degree).

Technical Expertise:

Advanced proficiency in manipulating and analyzing

structured/unstructured data.

Experience with data mining, database management, and analytics

development.

Proficiency in Python and SQL.

Tableau and MatLab for statistical work using advanced analytic

methodologies

Big data analytics experience, strong preference for AI/ML

Proficiency in advanced programming languages and frameworks

Experienced in conducting multi-INT and technology specific research to

support mission operations

Experience in building and maintaining databases of geospatial

intelligence (GEOINT), signals intelligence (SIGINT), or open-source

intelligence (OSINT) data.

Leadership & Communication:

Ability to direct technical teams and solve complex intelligence

problems.

Strong communication skills to convey complex data insights effectively.

Desired Qualifications

Master’s degree in Data Science or a related technical field.

Experience developing and working with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and

Machine Learning (ML) models.

Strong preference for ArcGIS applications working knowledge.
