+ This is a senior level geographic information systems (GIS) technical position
+ Consults with stakeholders to review GIS data requirements
+ Propose technical approach to generate maps and other graphic designs.
+ Create maps/reports and related deliverables based on customer request including posting maps and related geospatial data to an internal GIS portal.
+ Performs analysis, development, implementation of processing approach and quality checks for electronic files and technical support via applying knowledge of GIS concepts and mapping software products.
+ Participate in teleconferences with co-counsel, client agencies and opposing counsel upon attorney request.
+ Performs mapping project evaluations, present findings, recommendations, specifications in formal reports and oral presentation.
+ Ability to obtain, extract, modify, convert, process, upload, export and perform quality assurance of complex demographic data.
+ Prepares, processes geocodes and analyzes large address database.
+ Determines optimum mapping routing schemas as necessary using appropriate GIS software.
+ Works independently on multiple phases of complex GIS tasks.
+ May review work of peers.
+ Prepare system/technical documentation.
+ Perform and supervises technical aspects of the task.
+ Organizes and conducts user training sessions on GIS software/products.
+ Design and implement a whole system solution responsive to attorney's needs.
Required and Preferred Qualifications:
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for MRPT facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
+ Undergraduate degree required; preferably in the computer science or information management/technology disciplines.
+ Must demonstrate substantial, hands-on, successful experience in doing the work on the geographic information systems (GIS), platform: Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) ArcGIS Suite.
+ Must have knowledge of GIS concepts and a variety of mapping software/products: ESR's ARCGIS Pro, Network Analyst, ARCGIS Portal and ARCGIS Online.
+ Must have knowledge of computer graphics and demographic data products: US Census Bureau Tiger data, Census PL94-171 data and American Community Survey/ACS data.
+ At least five years of experience.
+ Requires broad knowledge of the Government's IT environments, including office automation networks, PC and server-based databases and applications.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
+ Ability to lead a technical team, and to give it direction, will be very important
+ Demonstrated ability to analyze attorney needs.
Preferred:
+ Supervisory experience very strongly preferred.
+ Experience in a litigation support environment extremely helpful.

The Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands ( CEMML ) is hiring GIS Specialists to join our Fort Collins, Colorado office. The GIS Specialists will be integral members of our interdisciplinary team of environmental and cultural resource specialists. Our purpose is to support federal land managers in ensuring that military activities are conducted in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
The GIS Specialists will expand our team's current GIS capabilities by working with staff to manage geospatial products for a variety of natural and cultural resource projects. Responsibilities will include:
+ Feature class development
+ Completing metadata
+ Managing data in ArcGIS Online
+ Developing Survey123 and ArcGIS Field Maps data forms

WSP is seeking a **Geographic Information Systems** candidate with at least 1-3 years of experience to support our **Southwest Mountain Civil Ground Engineering Team** .
This position provides technical assistance and guidance for capturing, modeling, and analyzing geographical and tabular data to illustrate and determine spatial relationships as it pertains to client projects. Provides support and guidance for multi-site/phase projects by assisting with and overseeing spatial mapping, discovering patterns and trends, and developing mapping applications and tools at the intersection of data analysis, programming, and cartography. Substantiates documentation to advise on project areas by applying and integrating GIS data and perspective to solve environmental challenges across a variety of science and planning disciplines. Assists project leadership with environmental impact assessment, master planning, corrective/mitigation strategy development, permitting, and/or restoration activities. Ensures that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards.
**Your Impact**
+ Lead and conduct GIS surveys and reports from field sites for project research and investigation.
+ Support quality control standards and procedures for accurate and precise measurements, documentation, and high-level analysis of incoming and existent data.
+ Model and prepare topographic maps, thematic maps, graphs, and tabular data using GPS, aerial photographs, and other tools and data to determine exact locations of project areas, site impact, and associated physical and geographic sensitivities.
+ Verify integrity, accuracy, and authenticity of geospatial data collected directly from the field, received from clients, and/or retrieved from public data sites. Prepare and assist with completing GIS segments pertaining to impact assessment and/or permitting activities for assigned projects (e.g. CEQA, NEPA, etc.).
+ Prepare data and visualizations such as maps, tables, charts, accurate reports, and illustrations for the interpretation or presentation of data, findings, or analyses.
+ Oversee compliance with guidelines and project-specific procedures which include but are not limited to, the maintenance of any data collection, database, documentation, logbooks, and the management of a digital library of geographic maps in various file types.
+ Provide informed input to planners, scientists, and engineers in the analysis, evaluation, and interpretation of spatial and geographic data obtained during field investigations, offering insight with moderate to high-level threat mitigation, master planning, and permitting activities.
+ Assist with overseeing and working with cross-functional teams in executing project work and coordinating with CADD and other technicians on project documents.
+ Maintain or modify existing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) databases and proficiency with geodatabase design.

+ Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Planning, or a related field.

This position has an hourly pay range of $52-78/hour depending on the level of experience and expertise.

* 5+ years of development experience within GIS
* 5+ years of experience working with ArcGIS Enterprise Portal
* 2+ years of experience using ArcGIS Pro
