Position Summary   
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and controlling inventory activities.

Hours :7:00 AM- 3:30PM (hours will vary for end of month and physical inventory activities)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. 
    Inventory: 80%

  • Validate all production receipts and/or discrepancies.
  • Perform inventory adjustments and transactions under the guidance of the Inventory Control Manager or other upper-level management.
  • Perform electronic transfers.
  • Assist in controlling and monitoring the cycle counting program.
  • Assist and participate in all physical inventories.
Shipping: 20%
  • Create bills of lading for outbound shipments.
  • Create all paperwork for international shipments.
  • Send advanced ship notices to our retail customers.
  • Produce shipping address labels.
  • Produce UCC 128 labels.
  • Provide constant interaction with transportation drivers.
  • Will assist traffic manager with any assigned clerical duties.
  • Fill in for other clerical functions within the department.
Supervisory Responsibilities    
The Inventory Coordinator has no supervisory responsibilities.

  • Previous Dynamics AX and ERP Software experience.

The MRO Inventory Clerk plans, schedules, and coordinates a broad spectrum of preventive, routine, repair, and emergency

maintenance activities, using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) as a primary tool. This role also

supports the development of SOPs, procurement of parts and supplies, the receiving and inventory processes associated

with said parts and supplies, as well as coordinates rental and leased equipment needs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years of maintenance scheduling / planning experience and/or 5-10 years as a machine repair technician or

equivalent combination of both, required.

  • Prior experience in an agricultural and/or industrial environment, preferred.

  • Prior project management and capital project experience, preferred.

  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (E-maint preferred).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook, required.

  • Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Utilize CMMS to gather information needed by Administration to determine if goals and objectives are being met (including PM

WO Compliance, Safety WO Compliance, Environmental WO Compliance, Non-PM WO Efficiency, PM Accuracy, Entry of New

Assets as they are introduced into the fleet, fleet replacement schedules). Verify materials needed to do specific tasks/jobs,

keep material needs updated in CMMS on a constant basis. Take orders from maintenance & operations personnel for materials

needed. Palletize/kitting of all job tasks materials for jobs to be performed (labeled and stored properly). Place jobs in scheduling

pool for scheduling. Coordinate with production/operations to ensure equipment downtime and maintenance wrench time is

maximized. Track work orders, materials consumed, and costs associated with specific jobs. Coordinate with managers &

supervisors on job priority, establishing priority levels for the jobs that need to be completed. Organize the daily workload for

the Maintenance team members & assign individual tasks to each maintenance team member. Ensure that proper

materials/supplies are on-site for planned maintenance work orders. Work directly with parts clerk to organize all parts required

to perform work for upcoming projects. Manage inventory for the fleet & farm and improve the preventive maintenance program.

Validate work order requests, prioritize, plan and schedule. Develop a weekly, monthly, and annual schedule for PM's, by

equipment category and application. Confirm that the CMMS software and data files are complete and current. Modify PM's as

necessary to improve effectiveness of PM program. Identify vendor service for work that requires outside contractors & work

with associated departments for scheduling contractor work. Control inventory budget, accuracy, and other inventory

management functions. Procuring parts for all scheduled and unscheduled projects and repairs. Contacting suppliers to obtain

This position is 100% based on-site in Manassas, VA and regular working hours are M-F 9AM-5:30PM.
**The Role**
+ Support Inventory Control Mgr. to effectively and consistently improve the current goals.
+ Perform physical cycle counts daily across multiple departments
+ Perform end of month physical counts of certain material.
+ Support return to stock process. In addition to picking process
+ Support Inventory Control Mgr. to perform root cause analysis where discrepancies are detected.
+ Support Inventory Control Mgr. on inventory problems or discrepancies found.
+ Document defects precisely.

**The Candidate**
+ High School diploma or GED required
+ Associates Degree Business or Supply Chain Mgmt. preferred but not required
+ 5+ years of relevant inventory management/warehouse experience preferred
+ Experience in an ERP system (inventory transactions and reconciliation. Examples are Sage, JDE, SAP etc) highly preferred
+ Comfortable using math for majority of shift
+ Solid understanding on foundation of a bill of materials
+ Previous experience working in inventory department and cycle counting preferred
+ Be able to interpret production schedule for planning
+ WMS & Bizdesk knowledge preferred
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
+ Ability to effectively meet scheduled and ad-hoc project deadlines
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
