**_What Laboratory contributes to Cardinal Health_**
Clinical Care Delivery provides high quality, patient-centered care focused on diagnosing, treating and managing care while ensuring the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of the practice.
The Laboratory Technician is responsible for assisting the Medical Laboratory Scientist at Fairbanks Urology in the lab. They test and analyze body fluids such as blood, urine and tissue samples. They will operate laboratory equipment, such as microscopes and automated cell counters, and use automated equipment that analyzes multiple samples at the same time. In addition, the lab technician records data from medical tests and enters results in to a patient's medical record.
**_Responsibilities_**

+ Assist the Laboratory Scientist with running samples and interpreting data

**_Qualifications_**

+ Keep accurate records, such as temperature monitoring, quality control for all laboratory testing and daily, weekly and monthly maintenance.
**General Requirements** :

Kelly Services is seeking a Laboratory Technician for one of our top clients.
**Duration:** 1 Year
**Type:** Contract W2
**Pay Rate:** $25.00/hr. (W2)

Seeking a laboratory technician to support the Immunoassay Development Lab. This is an on-site position in Johnston, IA. The candidate will be a member of a group supporting multiple crop projects for both research and development and product characterization pipelines. The candidate will be an integral part of a team conducting activities aimed at furthering our understanding of protein detection reagents and methods as tools to detect and analyze transgenic proteins. The candidate will work alongside trained analysts and will be directly involved in critical discussions regarding experimental planning, execution and result analysis.
+ Assist in the development of immunoassays including ELISA and western blots
+ Inventory and database management
+ Laboratory support including buffer preparation and equipment maintenance
+ Experimental planning, execution and results analysis
+ Maintain accurate records
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in agriculture, chemistry, biology, or a related field.
+ Prior experience in a lab setting including pipetting skills and buffer preparation preferred.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
+ Comfortable working with chemicals and biological materials under safety protocols and permits, as necessary.
+ Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, inventory systems).
+ Ability to learn new software.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Effective communication skills
+ Ability to summarize data
