HB NEXT is seeking an Wilmington, NC based Environmental Consultant / NPDES Inspector to join one of our growing teams in North Carolina. The full-time candidate will be self-motivated, enjoy the outdoors, and appreciate flexible hours. HB NEXT is seeking a customer focused candidate with the ability to grow new markets and desire to be a part of a dedicated team of construction and inspection professionals.

Environmental Consultants are self-motivated and detail-oriented professionals who work outdoors in diverse environmental conditions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as consultants must collaborate effectively with on-site client staff. The role requires proficiency in documentation to ensure inspection reports are comprehensive, clearly identifying deficiencies, and recording resolutions promptly. While familiarity with construction is advantageous, it is not required. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct stormwater and NPDES inspections on construction sites with local issuing authority mandates (7-day, 14-day, Post Rain).
