General description of duties:
  • Computer Aided Drawing designer / CNC router programmer
  • Create and maintain CNC router programs for product lines in Millennium, Aluminum Frames, and American Series Molded Core

  • Work with engineering, ops and sales teams on research and development projects to create new profiles and designs
  • Ensure the equipment and/or services are delivered on time, on budget, and meet all JELD-WEN standards/specifications to ensure program success.
  • Oversee and work with cross-functional teams to identify tasks, build and manage program plans, identify, assign and commit functional resources to meet organization productivity commitments, goals and objectives.
  • Incorporate Lean Six Sigma and SQDCI methodologies into programs and projects.
Qualifications:

Overview
The Manager, Programming will provide statistical programming and analytic support clinical studies. As a team member of the Programming function, the Manager, Programming will be working interactively with functional colleagues from Biostatistics, Clinical Operations, Data Management and Project Management, as well as external vendors.
Responsibilities
  • Represents programming function in Study Team meetings and interacts with functional colleagues from other departments
  • Stay abreast of latest techniques in SAS Programming and CDISC Standards and continually improve internal processes to gain efficiency and regulatory compliance
  • Develop complex SAS Macros that help in reducing redundant programming and increase efficiency in projects
  • Motivate and mentor SAS Programmers to complete assigned deliverables
  • Lead study/initiatives and utilize resources to meet corporate objectives
  • Create specifications for data transformation in accordance to SDTM IG and SAP
  • Creation of CDISC compliant deliverables - SDTM & ADaM datasets, annotated CRF (aCRF), define.xml, reviewer guides (SDRG/ADRG)
  • Performing statistical analysis, generating analytic reports, tables, figures, and slides in support of clinical study and other reports
  • Professional development to enhance knowledge, skills, communication, scientific methodology, operational efficiency, and compliance with policies, regulations, and corporate standards and processes
Position Requirements (Required and/or Preferred Skills, Experience and Education):
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field of study
  • Master's degree or higher in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field of study is a plus
  • Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech (preferred) or related industry
  • Solid programming background and advanced SAS programming skills required
  • Prior experience in leading studies/projects is required
  • Prior experience in line management (direct reports) is a plus
  • CDISC experience in SDTM/ADaM/Define.xml standards are required
  • Prior submission experience is highly preferred.
  • Other statistical software knowledge is a plus (R, S-Plus, WinBugs, etc)
  • Programming skills or experiences with VBA, C++, Python, etc. are helpful
  • Must have good communication skills (verbal and written)

  1. Responsible for all phases of the CNC Programming Process, review Bill of Materials for purchasing to facilitate pricing inquiries, calculating material usages, etc.
  2. Perform all phases of Project Management duties including cost estimating, manufacturing engineering, and working to ensure quality production and on time shipping of customer orders
  3. Create detailed drawings for flat blank layouts using CAD system
  4. Monitor actual time and material standards vs. quoted time and material standards
  5. Drive process improvement to generate cost reduction
  6. Help write the process sheets (travelers) for the jobs
  7. Ensure all programs are updated with any modifications from the previous run
  8. Design machining, inspection and assembly fixtures
  9. Provide technical direction to operators as needed
  10. Design tooling and gauges as needed to ensure customers quality requirements are achievable
  11. Control proper revision levels for all programs in the company database
