Description and Requirements
We're seeking a highly motivated Digital Transformation Business Process Design Analyst to join our Finance team and drive enterprise-wide transformation. In this role, you'll serve as a key liaison between Finance and cross-functional teams, leading initiatives to modernize, optimize, and harmonize finance processes through SAP and other digital tools. This is a critical position for ensuring finance operations align with evolving business strategies and support scalable, future-ready solutions.
Responsibilities:- Shape Finance Strategy: Guide the business with a vision for finance best practices and help align processes with corporate transformation goals.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Represent the Finance organization in enterprise-level transformation projects across business units.
- Process Discovery & Solution Design: Identify and document business needs related to finance, accounting, and tax; collaborate with IT to co-design scalable, technology-enabled solutions.
- Project Delivery & Quality: Drive and track project execution to ensure timely delivery, quality results, and operational readiness.
- Process Optimization: Lead cross-functional teams to improve accuracy in financial results and reporting by identifying root causes and driving process improvements.
- Operational Alignment: Review, design, and refine finance service models to match evolving business operations and channel strategies.
- Governance & Controls: Establish consistent treatment principles across service finance functions, aligning with compliance and performance requirements.
- 5+ years of experience in project management or transformation roles, ideally in large, complex organizations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP/S4 HANA FICO , especially in manufacturing enterprise environments.
- Proven track record working on cross-functional projects that required finance, accounting, and tax knowledge.
- CPA or PMP certification
- Experience in channel sales rebate finance processes
- Experience designing or implementing operating models across Finance, Accounting, Tax, or Treasury functions
- Strong capabilities in business requirements documentation and stakeholder alignment
- Bilingual fluency in Mandarin
- Solid grasp of project methodologies including BMS, BP, UAT, RT, PPS

Your Role
We are hiring a Process Design Engineer, responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing manufacturing equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will lead technical initiatives, including Design of Experiments (DOE), and oversee the design, installation, and validation of manufacturing systems and equipment such as filling machines, packaging lines, and other process equipment.
This is a W2 Temp position with potential FTE extension.
- Lead the design and optimization of pharmaceutical manufacturing process equipment and systems.
- Plan and conduct experiments (DOE) to determine parameters and analyze processes, equipment, and system optimization. Ensure product quality, validate process parameters, and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Validation, and Operations to ensure seamless product scale-up and transfer.
- Develop and review engineering documentation including P&IDs, process flow diagrams, equipment specifications, and installation protocols.
- Manage the technical aspects of equipment selection, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues to ensure consistent product quality and compliance.
- Ensure all process designs meet cGMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reliability, and safety.
- Additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in process and design engineering within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical process equipment (e.g., filling machines, mixers, reactors).
- Strong knowledge of DOE methodologies and statistical analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab).
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory standards including cGMP, FDA, and ICH guidelines.
- Experience with automation systems and process control.
- Knowledge of validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Adhering to the requirements of California's law on salary transparency, the salary bracket for this role is set between $95,000 - $115,000 annually. The offered salary may be adjusted based on various factors such as the applicant's qualifications, skills, and professional experience.

Ammobia is seeking a motivated and creative Process Design Engineer to develop and optimize process designs for next generation ammonia production plants. You will play a key role in designing Ammobia's product, the ammonia plant, and its integrations with various feedstock and energy sources.

Job Description- Design, simulate, and optimize plant process designs incorporating our proprietary swing reactor
- Develop novel separations, energy integration, and process integration schemes
- Build flowsheets BFDs, PFDs, HMBs to iterate on process designs to de-risk and cost-down the plant, including through internal cost estimation and collaboration with external parties
- Develop plant designs and optimizations for specific plant scales and customer use cases
- Work closely with our reaction engineering team and other process engineers to design an integrated and optimized system
- Develop and implement techno-economic models for our ammonia production scheme, especially from low carbon and variable energy sources
- 5+ years experience in a relevant industrial setting, likely an EPC, technology licensor, boutique engineering firm, or similar
- Expertise in plant process design, for example in energy, O&G, chemicals
- Advanced knowledge of flow sheeting and custom modeling software, eg, Aspen, gPROMS, etc
- Advanced knowledge of chemical processing unit operations and systems, eg, gas separations, heat recovery, purge systems, etc
- Experience generating capital cost estimates through Aspen capital cost or public cost data
- Experience generating class 4-5 cost estimates through fabricator/EPC outreach
