Key Duties:
  • May work as a plumber in assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and sewer systems, and in opening clogged drains. Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing facilities, equipment, and assets. This role requires proficiency in various craft skills, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, and food equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and assets using craft skills such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling.

  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assigned tasks.

  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.

  • Use the work order management system to receive and document reactive repair requests.

  • Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests on facilities and equipment to identify issues and ensure operational efficiency.

  • Complete all required safety training to operate tools and equipment in compliance with company standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years' experience in a relevant trade such as plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or 5 years' experience in related trade.

  • Ability to document repairs and troubleshoot issues.

  • Strong communication skills to liaise with team leaders.

  • Proficient in using a computer to input data.

  • Must have a valid driver's license.
