The Buildings and Grounds Department welcomes applications for a full-time Electrician position. The positions will be in Provisional status and will report to the Administrative Superintendent of the Buildings & Grounds department.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
1. Five (5) years of full-time satisfactory experience as an electrician; or
2. At least three (3) years of full-time satisfactory experience as an electrician and sufficient satisfactory experience as an electrician's helper or apprentice electrician or training in the electrical field acquired in an approved trade, technical or vocational high school to make up the equivalent of the remaining experience. Six (6) months of acceptable experience will be credited for each year of such experience, apprentice training or training in the electrical field.
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above.
Notes: For appointment to certain positions, candidates will be required to possess a Motor Vehicle Driver License valid in the State of New York. If you have moving violations, license suspension(s) or an accident record, you may be disqualified. This license must be maintained for the duration of employment.

$125,533 annual salary

**GENERAL DUTIES**
In accordance with the policies of The City University of New York and individual colleges/units, under limited supervision, incumbents perform and supervise duties supporting campus/location public safety and security.
Incumbents direct the activities of individuals in lower ranks.

This position reports to the College Security Director or designee.
Daily Supervision
Handle day-to-day personnel scheduling, ensure adequate tour coverage, and conduct roll call for a specified Public Safety tour.

Provide guidance to subordinates in responding to emergencies.

Review Incident Reports and other Public Safety reports prepared by subordinates.

Initiate employee disciplinary action, when necessary and appropriate, in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures as well as College and University rules, regulations, policies, and practices.
Supervise special details by coordinating security activities to ensure the safety of the college community at registration, special events, and other large or high-profile functions.
Clearly relay important and pertinent information to management and officers, in a timely fashion.
Law Enforcement
Enforce college rules and regulations as specified in departmental standard operating procedures.
Investigate crimes using Departmental procedures, in accordance with all relevant rules, regulations, and laws of the College, University, New York City, New York State, and Federal Government.
Use and maintain defensive equipment (e.g., ASP, handcuffs, pepper spray, etc.).

Position Overview
The Certified Recovery Peer Advocate requires someone who is culturally aware and sensitive to the needs of the targeted population, possess excellent computer skills, be able to function as a part of an inter-disciplinary team and have understanding of therapy and group work rooted in evidenced based approaches for intervention and management strategies. Certified Recovery Peer Advocate services are peer-delivered services with a rehabilitation and recovery focus. They are designed to promote skills for coping with and managing behavioral health symptoms while facilitating the utilization of natural resources and the enhancement of recovery-oriented principles (e.g. hope and self-efficacy, and community living skills). The Certified Recovery Peer Advocate uses trauma-informed, non-clinical assistance to achieve long-term recovery from a behavioral health disorder.
Under supervision of the Program Director, the requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The provider ensures strengths based, person centered quality of care provided in a culturally and linguistically meaningful therapeutic environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities as defined by the ADA to perform the essential functions of the job. The functions below outline the general responsibilities associated with this position. Each of these functions is considered critical to effective department operations and our Mission. It is expected that all staff in this position will have satisfactory attendance and will perform these functions as assigned in a competent, cooperative, and timely manner. Key Essential Functions
- Provide rehabilitative and recovery-oriented interventions for clients diagnosed with substance disorders.
- Help promote skills for coping and managing behavioral health symptoms.
- Provide relapse prevention planning.
- Conduct assessment and groups specific to substance abuse and dependency.
- Utilize motivational interviewing and other evidence-based practices (EBP) while working with individuals at different stages of change to help individuals reduce use/abstain from substance use.
- Work as a member of multidisciplinary treatment team that practices client centered and holistic care; accompany clients to appointments and complete warm handoff referrals, including health homes services.
- Communicate effectively with clients and collateral contacts and conduct outreach for care coordination.
- Provide advocacy services for clients, including assisting individuals obtain benefits and entitlements, food, housing, and access appropriate care in the community.
- Conduct interim visits with individuals after a discharge from a hospital, rehab, or inpatient stay to facilitate community tenure and increased readiness while waiting for the first post-discharge visit with a community-based mental health provider.

Job Summary: While maintaining good public relations and implementing the goals and vision of the regional center, this position is responsible for providing and coordinating services to consumers in accordance with the provisions of the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act, and policies established by the San Andreas Regional Center Board of Directors.

- Gathers data and produces initial and/or ongoing assessments

Facilities Management and Campus Planning provides a convenient and reliable shuttle service for faculty, staff, and students to support the needs of our commuter campus. This service helps ensure safe, efficient transportation across key campus locations, making daily commutes easier and fostering greater accessibility for the entire university community. Our Motor Vehicles perform their mission in a courteous and professional manner with a commitment to quality and excellence.
The Motor Vehicle Operator will report to the Chief of Staff of Facilities Management. Campus Specific duties are listed below.
+ Safely operate a shuttle bus to transport faculty, staff and students to various checkpoints within the campus and the Harlem area. Provide shuttle service for CCNY's athletic teams to events, and student field trips as needed.
+ Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance, such as checking fluids, tires, and other essential components
+ Maintaining accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information.
+ Other related duties as needed.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
1. For the duration of the employment, the selected candidate must maintain their Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) with an S endorsement and no air brake restriction and a Passenger endorsement (P).
2. At least two (2) years of experience required.
3. Candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination.
Notes:
+ No formal education required.
+ History of serious moving violations, license suspension or serious accidents may disqualify for appointment. Employees must maintain the appropriate driver's license(s) for the duration of their employment.
