**Shift details:**
+ 37.5 hours per week, with 30-minute unpaid lunch break. 7.5 hours per day between 8am-5pm.
**Duties:**
This includes, but is not limited to: preparing monthly bureau activity reports; reviewing vendor claims for fiscal and programmatic correctness, adherence to state policy, compatibility with agency programs and goals, availability of funds, and appropriateness of rates and submitting those claims for payment; processing and submitting all orders via SFS; managing the purchase of goods and services; reconciliating approvals to pay temporary staff at all facilities; telephone support; mail and correspondence management, file management, scheduling and calendar management; meeting preparation; involvement in special projects, as well as other activities as directed by the Chief of Medical Services. The position provides overall support to office operations. Additional duties discussed during the interview.
**Qualifications:** high school diploma or equivalent; and two years of experience in administrative support, which includes answering phones, use of office software (email, Windows, Microsoft), provision of customer service,
management of an office. Intermediate/advanced skills with Excel. Experience with Statewide Financial System (SFS
preferred but not required). Ability to be trained in software systems.

This position is primarily responsible for providing coordination and administrative support to the OCFS Division of Juvenile Justice and Opportunities for Youth (DJJOY) Bureau of Health Services's (BHS) directors, assistant directors and the BHS team. This position provides a broad range of technical assistance, including providing purchasing and payment recommendations for DJJOY facility administrative and medical staff, contractors, and other provider entities which are related to various health services for youth placed in DJJOY facilities.
This includes, but is not limited to:
