DescriptionSUMMARY OF POSITIONThe Skills Trainer assists the general population, including people with disabilities or other barriers to employment, with digital skills and/or workforce readiness instruction through various delivery methods. The Trainer is expected to be courteous and professional while upholding the core Goodwill values of -Empowerment, Public Trust, Respect, Innovation, Quality, and Safety.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES•Assess current participant skill levels and compare them with the standard. Apply principles of classroom management and various teaching styles to increase participants' skill levels and competence. Create and update training materials to ensure the teaching of best practices. Conduct workshops and teach computer skills in a group or individual setting. Maintain proper functioning of all hardware devices.•Create an environment that enables all individuals to contribute to their fullest potential. Identify and implement innovative methods and adapt materials to meet the needs of and deliver services to diverse or unique populations. Guide and boost participants' confidence while encouraging healthy classroom behavior and maintaining an orderly environment. Evaluate and track participants' progress and promptly enter data.•Collaborate with Career Navigators on program activities. Seek additional training courses to advance personal technical skills. •Contribute to the fulfillment of department and agency objectives and goals. Embrace the agency's core values in the spirit in which the agency operates at work and in the community. Comply with all department and agency policies, procedures, and regulations. Adhere to and enforce safety and loss prevention procedures to prevent injury to personnel and damage to property, equipment, and inventory.•Perform other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES•High school diploma or equivalent and three years related experience.•Associate degree and one year related experience •Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).•Ability to plan, organize, work effectively, and meet deadlines.•Able to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base to provide prompt and courteous service.•Pass a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol screen.•Willing to work flexible hours, including some evenings and Saturdays.•Ability to travel to outlying Job Connection Centers, as needed. Minimum Qualifications:

While this position specifies responsibilities, requirements and duties in certain operational areas, this person is an employee of Independent Living Services, Inc. and will be expected to respond to such requests not specifically contained herein. This person must maintain the attitude that he/she works for the whole organization, and as such, exhibits proper cooperation, enthusiasm and interest in all areas deemed necessary for the continuing success of the ILS programs. Knowledge of all policies and procedures of ILS and related corporations of Creative Living, Inc. and Sheltered Living Services, Inc. is required. Knowledge of agency services and support system is required.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Service Coordinator works under the direct supervision of the Program Director. This position performs general office duties. They act as office receptionist by greeting and directing visitors, screening calls, and providing general information and assistance for Waiver Support Managers, Assistant Program Directors, Program Director, and Executive Director. The position will involve use of computer programs, i.e., Windows Excel/Word/Access/Web based software. They work in a shared office space. They will perform related responsibilities as required or assigned. The position requires familiarity with ILS Policies and Procedures, both business and program related. This person needs a general knowledge of services to people with developmental disabilities and knowledge of DDS policies.

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Operate, monitor, and maintain production machines and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
+ Set up machines according to specifications and perform minor adjustments as needed
+ Inspect parts during and after production runs to ensure quality standards are met
+ Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and notify maintenance when necessary
