General Summary of the Position:

The Computer Skills Trainer will deliver computer basic skills training programs to adults with novice computer skills in person at various identified community organizations in Massachusetts.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED/equivalent
• Computer and Internet familiarity
• Professional communication skills (oral and written/email)
• Friendly, patient, and positive
• Ability to work with diverse individuals and groups
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Reliable transportation as training and organizations are in various locations
• Prior community-base work/volunteer experience

Bi/Multilingual skills are a plus (Spanish, Haitian Creole, Portuguese particularly helpful).

Job description

• Design and develop Mendix applications, following internal best practices and guidelines. Collaborate with business analysts, designers, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into functional applications. Customize and extend Mendix functionality using widgets, microflows, and JavaScript actions Perform code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and ensure code quality. Integrate Mendix applications with external systems using APIs and web services. Collaborate with the testing team to ensure proper unit testing and resolve any reported defects. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Mendix applications. Stay up to date with the latest Mendix features, enhancements, and industry trends.
• Be the Technical lead from IT and interact with business
• Manage the team assigned and ensure proper delivery
• Responsible for deliverables to senior IT leadership as well as to the business users

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Mendix application development with 12+ years of software development experience
• Prior experience in leading projects and team assigned
• Mendix "Advanced Developer Certification" or "Expert Developer Certification" is preferred
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Experience collaborating and working in onsite-offshore model Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions Discrete manufacturing experience is a plus

• Developing detailed project plans and tracking progress
• Coordinating internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects
• Managing and mitigating risks to ensure on-time, within scope and within budget delivery
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
• Reporting program status and escalating issues to upper management as needed
• Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Developing a detailed program plan to monitor and track progress
• Managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Performing risk management to minimize project risks

What you will do:

• Draft patent applications for innovative clients, includingdescriptions and figures.
• Correspond with patent office about pending patent applications.
• Advise patent litigation teams based on your technical and scientific area of expertise.
• Interview inventors about new ideas.

Who you are:

• You have a strong background in Wireless Telecommunications, in particular 4G and/or 5G wireless telecommunications technologies.
• You have 2+ years of patent drafting and prosecution experience (preferred).
• You have excellent academic credentials, superior writing skills, client interfacing skills and interpersonal skills.
• You are fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.

The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $160,000. The salary offered will depend upon individual qualifications and experience.
