Position Overview
As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a pivotal role in our laboratory by performing microscopic examinations of cellular specimens to detect and diagnose diseases, particularly cancer. Your expertise will directly contribute to patient care by providing accurate and timely diagnostic information
Key Responsibilities
- Microscopic Examination: Analyze gynecologic and non-gynecologic slides using advanced staining techniques to identify abnormal cells indicative of disease processes
- Collaboration with Pathologists: Work closely with pathologists to discuss findings and assist in the formulation of diagnostic reports.
- Specimen Processing: Prepare and stain specimens, ensuring proper handling and documentation in compliance with laboratory protocols.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control activities, including proficiency testing and adherence to CLIA and CAP standards.
- Education and Training: Provide guidance and training to laboratory staff and students, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology or a related field.
- Certification: Certification as a Cytotechnologist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent
- Experience: Experience is preferred but not required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for image analysis and data management

Talkiatry is seeking experienced licensed Therapists, including social workers, counselors, and marriage and family therapists (LCSWs, LMFTs, LMHCs, LPCs, LCPCs, LPCCs) to join our team of providers.
You will:
- Provide the best, high-quality psychotherapy and coordinated care for your patients.
- Collaborate with our dynamic team of Providers including psychiatrists and nurse practitioners to diagnose, manage and treat our patients, employing a wide variety of interventions and modalities.
- Work independently and collaborate with a team of behavioral health providers and support staff.
- Utilize our custom technology, including an integrated EMR, to support providers with patient messaging, track patient progress, and gain insights into outcomes
- Demonstrated experience caring for diverse mix of patients receiving mental health treatment for anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions.
