**Job Description**
The Shipping Clerk in the Flavor Library plays a pivotal role in ensuring that high-quality flavor samples and R&D shipments are efficiently and accurately dispatched to customers. This position requires meticulous attention to documentation, including dangerous goods paperwork, and consistent communication with Sales, Marketing, Research & Development, and customers.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assure proper documentation and communication for outbound R&D shipments and sample orders.
+ Prepare bill of ladings in accordance with Department of Transportation, International Maritime, and International Air Transportation regulations.
+ Maintain dangerous goods shipping certifications for ground, air, and ocean shipments.
+ Determine and assign shipping priorities such as same-day, overnight, 2nd day, and pre-paid, including third-party billing.
+ Communicate effectively with customers and internal departments such as Marketing and Sales.
+ Utilize judgment to include appropriate marketing materials with shipments.
+ Serve as a backup for Library Compounders.
+ Maintain GMP/GLP standards.
+ Perform other duties as required.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in packaging, labeling, and material handling.
+ Detail-oriented.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with customers and shipping partners like FedEx.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with inventory control and RF scanner usage.
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment and GMP standards is highly desired.
