* Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions
* Physically able to lift up to 45 lbs and stay active on your feet throughout the shift
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting

* Basic computer skills for inventory input and order tracking

Responsibilities:

* Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
* Move, stack, and organize materials and products throughout the warehouse
* Place product tags on the product for order expediting
* Follow all safety procedures and use equipment properly
* Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards

**_What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health_**
Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
**_Job Summary_**
The Assoc II, Warehouse Ops assists on Inbound or Outbound activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor meeting quality, safety, productivity and operational standards. This job receives products in the Inbound section. As far as the outbound section, this job ships products.
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Unloads trucks in the Inbound section by using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to put pallets out of the trucks.
+ Uses Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products. If working with specialty products, must follow regulations to store refrigerated products.
+ Stores products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.
+ Picks products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.
**_Qualifications_**
+ 1-2 years of experience, preferred
+ High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
+ Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
+ Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly
+ Reach truck experience highly preferred

**Requirements**
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred
+ Six months of related warehouse experience required
+ One (1) year or more related warehouse experience preferred
+ Learn to operate powered industrial truck(s), such as: stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc., including how to operate and maintain (change battery, recognize common mechanical issues) intermediate required
+ May be required to operate manual and/or automated otherwarehouse/manufacturingequipment (such as a packaging line) intermediate preferred
+ Powered industrial truck certification

+ Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers. Ensure all scanning is completed correctly. Help train dock employees on new procedures. Ensure facility is secure at end of shift; investigate/resolve scanning issues and housekeeping. Perform picking and packing duties. Check for evidence of product or container damage
+ Perform the assigned tasks as described in the location's policies and procedures standards to include handling of materials within associated logical transactions
