**Job Title: Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN**
**Shift:** Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)
**Call Requirement:** 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month (may include holidays)
**Minimum Experience Required:** 2 years (First-time travelers must have a minimum of 3 years of experience)
**Certifications Required:** ACLS, BLS (RCIS, ARRT, or RTR also accepted)
**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in cardiac care and provide exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Monitor patient conditions accurately during procedures.
- Assist in a variety of cardiac interventions including but not limited to ASD closures, cardiac stent placements, and left/right heart catheterizations.
- Perform advanced techniques such as ECMO, IABP placement, and Impella insertion as needed.
- Maintain proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to patients with complex cardiac conditions.
- Participate in on-call rotations, providing a 2-hour minimum callback response.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to isolation precautions.
**Patient Care & Unit Details:**
- Patient Age Groups: Adults
- Daily Census: Approximately 15 patients
- Special Procedures: Right heart catheterization, left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions, and more.
- Equipment Operated: Impella console, IABP console, Shockwave, Boston Scientific IVUS/FFR/DFR, and various coronary wires, stents, and balloons.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Strong patient ratio experience, ideally 1:1.
- Previous charge experience preferred.
- Experience with the Community Hospital charting system is an asset.
- Travel experience in a healthcare setting is required.
**Compliance Requirements:**
- Active MD or Compact License is mandatory at the time of submission.
- 2 satisfactory professional references are required (1 from a supervisor/manager and 1 from a charge RN).
- Local candidates must reside 50 miles or more from the hospital.

- While specific scheduling requests cannot be guaranteed, every effort will be made to accommodate the needs of the team member.
