- Collaborate with directors to define and execute the visual style of each project.
- Plan and execute camera setups, including lighting and composition, to create visually stunning shots.
- Manage camera department personnel and equipment on set.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with cameras and related gear.
- Maintain and care for all camera equipment.
- Work closely with the grip and electric departments to achieve lighting requirements.
- Adapt to various shooting conditions and overcome production challenges.
- Participate in pre-production meetings to discuss project scope and visual needs.
- Ensure all footage is captured according to project specifications and quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Cinematography, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a Cinematographer and Camera Operator.
- Extensive knowledge of various cinema camera systems (e.g., ARRI, RED, Sony Venice) and their operation.
- Proficiency in lighting techniques and equipment.
- Strong understanding of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling.
- Experience with different lens types and their creative applications.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines on location.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel extensively.

A large software and gaming company is looking for a Gameplay Cinematographer to join a growing team. This person will be responsible for the planning and execution of shots throughout a broad range of video content. With an understanding of how to time and frame shots, you'll support our Senior Gameplay Cinematographers and editorial team in crafting high quality trailers. Using best in class tools within Unreal Engine, you'll further support the long-term development of our capture team by maintaining workflow documentation, reporting bugs and testing new tools.
In this role you will
? Work closely with the Capture Coordinators and Capture Team Leadership to capture high quality in-game shots.
? Execute your strong sense of timing, staging, and composition/layout when capturing footage.
? Monitors capture system functionality and reports outstanding bug issues to our Technical Build Producer
? Be knowledgeable and proficient in operating cameras and developer tools to create and capture high-quality cinematic media
? Maintains capture workflow documentation and process
? Utilize UE5 tools to create cinematic gameplay cameras
? Assist the Senior Gameplay Cinematographer in onboarding new team members in Unreal camera tools and best practices to maintain best-in-class capture
