Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Construction Project Manager

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a deep understanding of construction fieldwork and a drive to lead complex, high-impact projects? StaffBuffalo is partnering with a well-established construction company to hire a full-time, salaried Construction Project Manager to oversee a variety of foundation and structural projects across New York State. This role offers a highly competitive salary range of $75,000 to $135,000 per year, depending on relevant industry experience, and provides the chance to take ownership of some of the most technically challenging work in the field.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, knows how to manage the moving parts of a job site, and brings hands-on leadership to every phase of construction. Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with a field-first mindset
  • Experience with Procore and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple job sites and travel frequently within NYS
  • Excellent communication skills and a hands-on, problem-solving attitude

If you have project management experience in a construction or restoration background or superintendent experience and a valid driver’s license , then Hays + Sons wants to hear from you! Property Restoration experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clients with exceptional service through proactive communication and well planned out projects
  • Ensure that all assigned projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • See that labor costs are optimized through ongoing oversight and planning with the right subcontractors and carpenters
  • Proficient with noting job progress within Project Management Software
  • Contact every assigned customer at least twice a week with progress reports
  • Maintain reliable subcontractor base
  • Attend pre-construction meetings
  • Coordinate the need, use and movement of materials, equipment, and personnel between jobs
  • Ensure that all expenditures are first supported by an approved purchase order
  • Participate in on-call rotation
