ABOUT THE ROLE

The Drafter is responsible for completing specifically assigned drafting projects as assigned by the Product Development Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops accurate and complete production drawings, bills of material and/or tooled parts layout, and vendor drawings for assigned models and/or projects
• Coordinates the drawings and bills of material with other Drafters involved in common projects to ensure the project is completed in a timely manner.
• Keeps abreast of current Drafting Standards to maintain continuity during the drawing and bill of material development process.
• Maintains the library of production drawings and bills of material to ensure a central source of current reference information is available and accessible to all departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma with Drafting Fundamentals exposure
• 1-2 years experience
• HUD Code experience
• One or more years of manufacturing assembly experience or one or more years of drafting experience
• Strong computer skills and understanding of relevant software packages
• Strong mechanical skills
• Motivated self-starter with a strong tolerance for change

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Drafter to produce detailed civil engineering drawings, including site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, and cross-sections using Civil 3D and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with civil engineers and project managers to interpret design specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D and 3D models for infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to local codes and regulations.
• Perform calculations for quantities, alignments, and profiles as needed to support drafting tasks.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, clients, or regulatory agencies.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation to support project delivery and archiving.

• Knowledge of other design software (e.g., MicroStation, Revit) is a plus.

The Engineering Designer will support electrical distribution design projects, with a strong preference for Exelon/BGE experience. This role is responsible for completing engineering design packages, working on Green Power Connection projects, and ensuring accuracy through internal QA/QC processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical distribution design for overhead and underground systems (Exelon/BGE experience preferred).

Selectek has an immediate need for a Drafter  to work in the canopy and cover industry. This role will work to create shop drawings of aluminum components and releasing parts for fabrication. Candidates must be able to read construction documents/blueprints to be successful at this job. Ideally, as one learns the product line and role more, this position will take on more responsibilities and work closely with clients to ensure custom designs for products are met. The work can be for metal panels, canopies, curtain wall work, or other similar designs.
