Pay Premium: This role offers a 25% differential.

Shift: D shift: Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday 6:00 pm to 6:15 am

Position Summary: Our Equipment Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing preventative maintenance, electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and installation of various semiconductor fabrication machines.

Responsibilities:
• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating and repair manuals.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to identify root cause problems and put corrective actions in place.
• Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance duties on production equipment.
• Complete and maintain required documentation for quality standards.
• Rebuild equipment and sub-assemblies as required.
• Perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.
• Participate in Maintenance or cross-functional teams such as 5S+ and CIP.
• Take ownership of small projects and equipment assembly tasks
• Work with outside vendors as required
• Process chemical and gas handling
• Maintains critical spares and consumables inventory.

The job also requires performing other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Education: 2 Year Technical/Associates Degree in Science, Math, Engineering, Semi-Conductor Manufacturing or a related discipline or equivalent military training / work experience.

Experience and/or Training:
• 2 years experience in a maintenance manufacturing position
• Able to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation
• Ability to define, initiate, manage, and execute on projects to improve tool function and metrics. The ability to work in a cross-functional team environment, prioritize tasks, and plan for maintenance is essential
• Fluency in English Language - written & verbal

Technology/Equipment: Competent with Windows OS interfaces, MS office suite.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Ability to work 12 hours shifts
• Ability to work with and around chemicals
• Wear complete fab attire for an entire shift and meet all safety and cleanroom requirements

The hourly range for this role is $21.92- $32.88 per hour. (This role also offers a shift differential of 25%). Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime available)

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour to start

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Auburn, ME. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment used in our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical or electrical systems and a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.

• Inspect machines and diagnose issues using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.

• Collaborate with plant supervisors and production staff to address equipment concerns.

• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.

• Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery or upgrades as needed.

• Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and parts.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred.

• 2+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in mechanical and/or electrical systems.

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

• Familiarity with tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety protocols.

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing safe, timely and cost-effective repairs to machinery. Responsibilities & Duties:

• Ability to perform all tasks described on Maintenance Technician training matrix for a level one technician.

• Perform preventative maintenance to equipment to assure efficient and long-term trouble-free operation.

• Troubleshoot controls systems for electrical and mechanical needs.

Required Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of (2) years of experience or associate degree with (1) years experience required.
• Experience must be in a manufacturing environment in the areas of facility maintenance and repair, equipment installation.
• Proficient use of electrical and mechanical hand and tools required.
• Requires ability to lift 60 lbs., climb ladders and work at heights 10-20 feet above plant floor.
• Trade experience preferred.
