Job Summary:
The HVAC Apprentice is responsible for assisting in proper Operation and maintenance of all mechanical systems and equipment.
This includes but is not limited to: chillers, cooling towers, fans, pumps, heat exchangers, ancillary support equipment, water treatment, controls and BMS/EMS.

Conduct building tours, maintain equipment loss, and report deficiencies for corrective action.

ABOUT THIS APPRENTICESHIP
Schedule: In this full- or part-time apprenticeship, you'll work from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional after-hours service when needed.
Apprenticeship Overview: As a full- or part-time Plumbing and HVAC Apprentice, your day starts by meeting at our central location, where you'll head to service sites across Dutchess County. Working alongside seasoned technicians, you'll assist in repairing and maintaining plumbing and HVAC systems, all while keeping the truck organized and well-stocked. From learning the ins and outs of equipment to ensuring every customer has a top-tier experience, you'll grow your skills while contributing to real projects. Occasionally, you may assist with emergency after-hours service, gaining even more hands-on experience.
The minimum requirements to be considered:
- Clean driver's license (licensed for 3 years or more)
- OSHA 10 certification
- Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment
