**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION**
This person will be a member of an operations team in a liquefied natural gas (LNG) import and distribution facility. The is a union represented position. (UWUA Local 369)
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**
+ Acts as a team member with all employees.
+ Complies with all Constellation policies and procedures.
+ Perform the duties of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal operator in a 12-hour daily rotational shift environment, including holiday, weekends, and nights.
+ Load LNG trucks; and monitor terminal functions at the discretion of the Shift Foreman. Which includes reporting, documenting and computer skills.
+ Provide routine maintenance and security tasks.

+ Lift and move truck-loading hoses weighing 20-30 pounds.
+ Carry 20-pound tool kit to top of tank or the ship.

+ All responsibilities must be met in a rotating shift environment, including overtime, holidays, weekends and nights. There is a considerable number of outdoor activities involved.
+ Required to pass written and practical examinations to maintain employment.
+ Operators are hired under a 6-month probationary period and are evaluated prior to the end of the 6-month period for continued employment.

This is a position in the Facilities Management department that requires demonstrated expertise in plant operations and maintenance. Experience in a healthcare setting will be helpful.
Regardless of specialty, a Plant Operator II may be required to perform other maintenance tasks as needed, such as minor repairs or assisting with other projects.

Archaea Energy, a leader in the landfill gas to energy industry has an immediate opening for a Plant Operator/Technician at our Rochelle Plant in Rochelle, IL ! We are looking for candidates with 1-5 years of operation & maintenance experience on mobile or stationary engine generator sets up to 1500 kW. Specific experience monitoring plant operations, performing maintenance and repairs on CAT G3500 and G3600 gas engines or similar piston engines, controls, generators and ancillary equipment is desired.
**Introductory Employment Period:**
Your employment with Archaea will begin with an introductory period of **90 days** , starting from your first day of work. The introductory period is intended to support your transition into the role and provide an opportunity for both you and the Company to ensure a strong mutual fit. Plum Point Energy Station is a 680 net MW coal-fired power plant located approximately 50 miles north of Memphis near Osceola, Arkansas. The Plant Operator is responsible for monitoring the status of all plant systems and equipment on a continuous basis.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Plant Operator is responsible for daily operations of the facility's central energy plant, and main plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Utilizing a working knowledge of boilers, chillers and other plant equipment, the Plant Operator ensures the plant consistently runs efficiently, safely, and smoothly.
**Responsibilities**
+ The Plant Operator implements strategies to drive continuous improvement and maintain model operation by planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to meet or exceed regulatory requirements, industry standards, manufacturer's recommendations, company policies and procedures and by creating work schedules, developing maintenance schedules, and mentoring general maintenance technicians.
+ The Plant Operator will adhere to processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity, as well as, increase equipment efficiency, capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards to complete equipment repairs and renovations, and maintain inventory of plant assets, maintenance tools, and supplies.

**Essential Duties/Responsibilities:**
+ Oversees the safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally sound operation of all plant equipment.
+ Properly operates all equipment related to the steam generator, solar field, steam turbines, and plant auxiliary equipment during routine, abnormal, and emergency conditions.
+ Thoroughly understands and executes the equipment LOTO procedure.
+ Monitors and records data available through the use of various instruments, recording charts, annunciator systems, computer platforms, and other monitoring devices.
+ Utilizes and professionally maintains shift logbooks following protocol.
+ Communicates information clearly both orally and written. Follows required communication protocols for two-way radio, telephone, and face to face communication.
+ Troubleshoots and provides diagnosis to either solve operational problems or provide thorough information in referring the problem to the maintenance group.
+ Generates and reviews work requests for execution of equipment repair.
+ Assists in corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance for which they are qualified to safely and efficiently perform, to include the use of tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
+ Actively participates in all required regulatory training and demonstrates the initiative to engage in self-directed training and study required to advance to the position of Control Operator.
+ Assists in training other Operators.
+ Performs any and all other technical and administrative duties associated with operating and maintaining a power facility.
+ Performs work independently and/or in work crews.
+ Works rotating shifts to include night shifts and weekends and is available for overtime as needed.
**Qualifications:**
+ Proven experience with a multitude of electrical/construction projects and knowledge of basic IT equipment.

**Physical Requirements**

**The base salary range for this position is: $76,960-$138,480* *The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. - Provide timely assistance to other plant operators when required
