As a Production Assistant, you are responsible for assisting production personnel on WNBA and Atlantic 10 Basketball (Men and Women), with the potential for Golf and other sports.
Responsibilities:
+ Handle remote and/or studio production needs and requests
+ Assist with editing of sports television and/or video segments, including, but not limited to, highlight packages, bumpers and teases, as well as cueing shots and properly securing footage to be used in such segments

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for properly performing activities relative to assisting the extrusion operator in efficiently operating the extrusion equipment and producing quality products within a large, 24/7 manufacturing environment. Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Contributes to accident-free operations and compliance to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations.
  • Assist the department in producing a quality product based upon product specifications.
  • Monitor and complete quality checks to assure quality of the products (color, surface, size, etc.) meets product standards prior to packaging.
  • Perform placement of pallets and proper packaging techniques for finished material as directed.
  • Move material to designated areas, as needed.
  • Assist extrusion operator with all machine cleaning functions including saws, tanks, etc. when necessary.
  • Communicate daily issues and pertinent information to production assistants, assistant operators, operators, and team leaders as needed.
  • Follow all plant safety procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
  • Understand and follow all company policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Responsible for detailed completion of production operator reports.
  • Complete additional quality and production paperwork, as necessary.
  • Complete and attach labels according to the product specifications.
  • Perform housekeeping duties in the production area.
  • Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by leadership.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

Experience: Minimum of 1 year

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills

Other Requirements: Ability to read, write, and understand the English language. Basic mathematical proficiency in the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers and fractions. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, reading gauges and similar measuring devices.

Job Description

This is a food manufacturing setting and employees are on their feet for 8+ hours. It is a fast paced repetitive work environment. Counting and simple math skills are required. Similar experience in the food manufacturing industry is preferred. All employees are required to maintain neat and sanitary workspaces. All employees are also required to take part our preventative controls/ food safety program which involves daily sanitation of building, grounds, and equipment.

Line Worker/Donut Finisher -Donut Production

Shift start time - between 5:00am and 8:00am. Shifts are scheduled for 8 hours in length with a 30 min lunch break. Working over may be required.

Responsibilities - assisting in prep work for mixing, cutting,  and portioning dough and donuts. After further automated processing donuts will need caught, sorted and labeled for the finishing steps to take place. The finishing steps include the filling of individual donuts and appropriately icing donuts. May need to assist packing an distribution before ending shift.

Product Staging/Packing & Distribution

Shift start time - between 9:00am and 11:00am. Shifts are scheduled for 8 hours in length with a 30 min lunch break. Working over may be required

Responsibilities- properly reading rack tags and preparing products for distribution. This involves handling finished product with care and learning where items are to be placed for packing set up. After all products are staged and ready it is time to start packing customer orders. This involves accurately reading picking slips and gathering product to build specific customer orders.
