  • Conduct engineering analyses, including FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), to validate designs and optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with styling, manufacturing, and testing teams to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Prepare technical specifications, design reports, and documentation for assigned projects.
  • Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and implementing necessary revisions.
  • Support the prototyping and testing phases, analyzing results and incorporating lessons learned into design iterations.
  • Research and evaluate new materials, manufacturing processes, and technologies to enhance product innovation.
  • Ensure designs comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental requirements.
  • Troubleshoot design-related issues during development and production.
  • Stay abreast of competitor designs and emerging automotive trends.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in automotive design or product development.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one major CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, NX, or similar).
  • Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems (e.g., chassis, body, interior, powertrain).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes relevant to the automotive industry (e.g., stamping, injection molding, welding).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and spatial reasoning skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with CAE tools (FEA, CFD).
  • Knowledge of vehicle packaging and ergonomics.
  • Experience with electric vehicle (EV) or autonomous vehicle component design.
