**Main Responsibilities:**
The US and Canada Broker Dealer Treasury team is part of the HoldCo Treasury, Capital Management and Consolidated US Operations (CUSO) Resolution Planning. Reporting directly to the Treasurer, the AVP will have involvement in all broker dealer treasury functions including funding and liquidity risk management, asset liability management, interest rate risk measurement / modeling / management / hedging, funds transfer pricing, capital management and resolution planning. The AVP will be a strong team contributor and partner extensively with Treasury, Finance, Operations, Legal and Business colleagues, in close collaboration with other global entities including Tokyo head office.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manage projects that improve Treasury reporting and produce key metrics that monitor liquidity utilization.
+ Monitor the amount of unsecured funding used by various business lines and effectively transfer price for liquidity.
+ Develop Canadian broker dealer and enhance US broker dealer collateral monitoring and cash flow forecasting reporting.
+ Continue to build out intraday liquidity monitoring and work closely with Operations and the Repo desk to optimize funding.
+ Cross train and become back-up to peers in other Treasury areas when they are out of the office.
+ Analyze new business initiatives to assess the liquidity risk implications and funding requirements.
+ Keep abreast of regulatory developments and interpret the impact on Liquidity and Funding risk management measurement practices.
+ Work closely with Global colleagues and US counterparts to ensure that Broker Dealer are aligned with peer broker dealer practices and regulatory expectations.
+ Coordinate ALCO meeting materials for US and Candian broker dealers.
+ Lead and contribute to CUSO liquidity stress testing assumption, limit and early warning indicator and reporting updates across Treasury teams and engagement with risk management.
+ Adhere to all Enhanced Prudential Standards requirements for US Broker Dealer including Intraday monitoring, collateral management, cash flow forecasting, stress testing, and compliance with ALM guidelines.
**Job Requirements**
+ 5+ years of experience in treasury, funding and liquidity at a broker dealer and/or bank.
+ Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and strategically solve problems with high attention to detail.
+ Ability to interact and build relationships with people from different departments and at varying levels of seniority.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to work independently.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
+ Ability to interface with business units and support functions across the Firm.
+ Works well independently as well as part of a team.
+ May require security Industry Essentials (SIE) and Series 99 Certifications within 90-days of employment.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $105K - $130K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation. As a Payments Senior Sales Associate within the Non-Banking Financial Institutions Group, specifically focusing on the Asset Managers, Broker Dealers, and Market sales segment, you will assist Payment Solution Managers (PSMs) in handling cross-functional and cross-regional deals. You will support proactive client engagement, collaboration with multiple internal partners, and development of solutions to meet strategic and complex needs of our corporate clients. Additionally, you will support key relationship management initiatives such as billing and pricing, interest rate management, and tracking and resolving escalations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Understanding clients' business goals, environments, strategies, and industry trends to better determine their requirements and identify potential new business opportunities for J.P. Morgan Payments via appropriate solution(s); traditional cash management, FX, International payments, liquidity.
  • Develop account plans, briefing memos and support relationship reviews in partnership with the client service organization; understand the client's account structure, cash flow, product usage and global setup
  • Develop strong relationships within client's Treasury organizations - anticipate client needs/challenges and proactively engage appropriate J.P. Morgan Payments partners to develop comprehensive solutions
  • Coordinate/negotiate KYC and onboarding documentation, internal credit processes, and help manage seamless integration with implementation partners - engage appropriate escalation points where necessary to meet client needs while managing expectations
  • Review and analyze transactional data to identify key trends, risks, pricing/billing inefficiencies and conduct pricing analysis and provide go forward strategy/recommendations
  • Think outside the box, identify new ways to advance team wide initiatives, and contribute as the voice of the client in cross-functional partner engagement to ensure alignment with broader firm wide interests and the client's objectives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 3 + years experience in cash management, transaction banking, merchant acquiring or related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex problems into concise conclusions
  • Goal oriented with the ability to foster innovation and solve problems creatively
  • Strong time management, organizational and planning skills and ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently with keen attention to follow-up coordination
  • Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of the JPMorgan Treasury Services products, pricing philosophy, and billing process/procedures, a plus
