Three (3) years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Senior Process Engineer, Junior Process Engineer or related occupation. Three (3) years of experience with injection molds including components and functions; and part design, tooling and process variables including cost and high quality strategies. Two (2) years of experience with Unigraphics NX; Injection mold filling analysis including Autodesk-Moldflow; and Injection modeling machines. One (1) year of experience with Class A surface appearance requirements in the automotive industry associate with as-molded, painted, chromed, and metalized parts.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Organizational Development
- Provide strategic direction for engineering functions aligned with business and operational goals.
- Mentor, develop, and retain a high-performing engineering team; foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
- Lead succession planning, organizational design, and professional development initiatives.
Cross-Functional Program & Project Leadership
- Oversee large-scale and complex engineering projects, including capital improvements, automation initiatives, and new product launches.
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain to support plant KPIs through engineering solutions.
- Develop engineering program roadmaps and facilitate cross-functional project governance.
Innovation & Process Optimization
- Champion lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize throughput.
- Lead evaluation and deployment of new technologies, automation systems, and digital transformation efforts.
- Monitor plant-wide performance metrics and leverage data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
Risk, Compliance & Safety Oversight
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory and safety standards.
- Develop and enforce engineering standards and protocols to ensure reliability and mitigate risks.
- Lead safety audits and incorporate engineering controls to foster a proactive safety culture.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Capital Planning
- Develop and manage operational and capital budgets for engineering.
- Lead long-term planning for infrastructure upgrades, energy efficiency projects, and technological investments.
- Optimize costs without compromising reliability or innovation.
- Manage relationships with contractors, OEMs, and engineering service providers.
- Lead sourcing strategies for critical engineering services and capital procurement.
Requirements:
Education
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline required; Masters degree or MBA preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
Experience
- 10+ years of progressive engineering experience in manufacturing environments.
- At least 5 years in engineering leadership, preferably in high-volume or automotive sectors.
Technical & Leadership Skills
- Proficiency in engineering systems, reliability, maintenance practices, and automation technologies.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and data-driven operational improvements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Certifications
- PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, or similar certifications are highly desirable.

Job Summary:
The Engineering Services Manager is charged with directing and managing the maintenance of the buildings, grounds, equipment and plant facilities. Responsible for the installations, moves, repairs and removal of equipment and utilities within the buildings and grounds. Keeps in compliance with and abreast of local building codes and OSHA regulations. Contracts with and supervises all outside maintenance contractors. In addition, will supervise in-house electricians, general maintenance personnel and refrigeration equipment operators. The Manager of Engineering Services must be fiscally responsible, be an initiative-taker who can collaborate well with people at all levels both internally and externally of the operations and must have the ability to work well with ever-changing priorities and/or situations. This position reports directly to the Engineering & Facilities Services Director.
Key Job Elements:
- Responsible for managing/ordering equipment to ensure sufficient on-site inventory of repair parts for field equipment. Have general knowledge of Johnson Controls Metasys system and operation.
- Available to receive calls from on-site personnel. Be proficient at analyzing a given situation and take the necessary action to ensure building comfort and safety.
- Must be proficient in the management of the payroll system, electronic workorder system and producing weekly utility reports.
- Able to work in a team environment. Communicate with all necessary appropriate personnel when uncovering additional building repairs needed.
- Assist in analyzing or obtaining proposals from outside vendors for building repairs as needed. Including but not limited to enhancements to existing systems. Provide input to the Engineering & Facility Services Director and Manager of Facilities.
- Capable of understanding subcontracting processes. Ensure vendor service and projects are executed safely and in a timely manner according to the contract terms.
- When called upon, assist maintenance personnel with troubleshooting and executing minor repairs to the building controls, including the facility's Johnson Controls Metasys/HVAC System and other building systems as needed.
- Able to work flexible days/hours, when necessary, i.e., Auto Show, Boat Show and other major events throughout the year. Coordinate schedule with Engineering & Facility Services Director.
- Take directions from the Engineering & Facility Services Director to assist with additional tasks, as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education Educational background and academic qualifications are important and required, with technical training in plant engineering or factory/plant maintenance.
- Experience Required to have a minimum of three years' experience in supervising, scheduling, prioritizing, and providing direction to a minimum of (10) personnel on building repairs. A minimum of five years in troubleshooting HVAC, mechanical and lighting control systems; primarily DDC systems, plus five years' experience working in a commercial setting.
- Skills Strong mechanical aptitude and a working knowledge of electrical, HVAC and mechanical systems. Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly.
- Well Developed Communication Skills Oral, written and listening. Good analytical skills and close attention to detail. Excellent project management skills, including ability to lead, facilitate and organize.
