The SEC ISS program is a comprehensive IT program charged with operating, managing, and advancing the SEC's IT infrastructure. Currently; we are seeking an Apple and Windows Support Technician. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with the occasional requirement to support off-hour work during evenings and/or weekends.
The selected candidate must a US Citizen (without dual citizenship) and able to obtain a Public Trust Suitability clearance, per contract requirements.

The responsibilities for candidates in this role include, but are not limited to the following:
+ Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for macOS and iOS devices, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
+ Deliver responsive support for Windows 11 systems in a mixed OS environment.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues involving hardware, software, network connectivity, printing, and application performance.
+ Assist with device setup, configuration, and enrollment using MDM tools (e.g., Jamf, Intune).
+ Respond to help desk tickets, emails, Team Chats, and walk-up requests with professionalism and efficiency.
+ Escalate complex issues to Tier 3 or specialized teams when necessary.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of support procedures and resolutions.
+ Educate users on system features, updates, and best practices.
+ Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
Required Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of experience providing customer-facing support for macOS and iOS.
+ 2+ years of experience supporting Windows 11 in a professional environment.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills across Apple and Windows platforms.
+ Familiarity with MDM solutions such as Jamf, Intune, or similar.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
+ Experience with ServiceNow ticketing systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or equivalent.
Microsoft certification (e.g., Modern Desktop Administrator Associate).
Experience in enterprise or educational IT environments.
The likely hourly rate for this position is between $29.75 - $40.25. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

**Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled Apple Systems Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Endpoint Engineering team. This role will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for all Apple platforms, including macOS, iOS, iPadOS, visionOS, tvOS, and watchOS, across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have deep technical proficiency in macOS administration, MDM configuration, Apple device lifecycle management, and integration with enterprise systems, ideally in a healthcare setting.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Responsible for designing, managing, and maintaining server systems and infrastructure for both enterprise and cloud environments. Ensure server systems are secure, stable, and highly available.
+ Highly proficient with enterprise server management tools and possesses intermediate scripting and automation skills. Skilled in troubleshooting both Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
+ Participate in the planning, deployment, and ongoing support for enterprise server infrastructure to ensure optimum performance and scalability.
+ Possess an expert knowledge of enterprise backup solutions, performance monitoring tools, and cloud-native services.
+ This role requires a blend of technical skills, collaboration, and an understanding of both hardware and software systems.
+ Includes after-hours maintenance and on-call rotations to support critical tier1 systems.
+ Work with cross-functional teams for capacity planning, focusing on future scalability and resource optimization across all environments.
+ Please note, this position does have limited travel for summit events.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ This role requires not only hands-on expertise in Apple systems but also the ability to configure, troubleshoot, and script Apple workflows using tools such as Jamf, Intune, or other MDM platforms.
+ Experience editing configuration profiles and PLIST files, as well as contributing to minor development or integration work, is essential.
**MINUMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline and five years Infrastructure server administration experience OR seven years of Infrastructure server engineering experience.

Leidos is seeking an experienced **Senior** **Apple Engineer** to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) team, who will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Department of Defense (DoD) Fourth Estate Agencies. The Senior Apple Engineer provides Apple device and infrastructure critical skills to operate, manage, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues and maintain a secure macOS operating system on classified and unclassified networks. A thorough understanding of macOS, Jamf Pro, Active Directory, Trellix, STIGs, IAVMs, Shell/Bash, TCP/IP, and Apple Business Manager is essential. The Senior Apple engineer will also be expected to provide documentation and knowledge transfer of the Apple Enterprise solutions to all Client Services stakeholders. This position may also support some system and server administration and desktop services as part of a larger team.
**_CLEARANCE REQUIRMENT: Must possess an active DoD Secret or above. (US Citizenship required)_**
**_This position requires 2-3 days of onsite work per week in Fort Meade, MD, with additional onsite days possible based on mission requirement._**
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Designing and implementing Apple Enterprise solutions, topologies, and services to ensure efficiency, security, and reliability of current macOS operations
+ Leading teams to support effective customer service
+ Analyzing Apple systems topologies and making recommendations on best practices to maximize uptime and increase operational efficiency
+ Configuring and implementing system diagnostic and maintenance tools using customized Shell/Bash scripting and policy implementation via JAMF Pro management console
+ Remotely administers the configuration and maintenance of operating systems, software, and end-user applications
+ Planning and arranging scheduled upgrades
+ Implementing government configuration baselines and DoD STIGs
+ Vulnerability mitigation and patching
+ Perform analysis of new hardware, operating systems, and software to mitigate vulnerabilities with existing policies and processes prior to implementation
+ Reviews processes to determine suitability for system updates
+ Leading and training junior engineers
+ Acts as liaison between engineers and service desk, providing point of escalation for assessing needs of customers and developing services and processes to support
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in technical discipline and 5+ years of related experience. Specific experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
+ JAMF certification or other related certifications strongly encouraged
+ 5+ years JAMF experience
+ Security+ CE (or appropriate DoDM 8570 Baseline Certification)
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Documenting topologies, conceptual system diagrams (DoDframework), and SOPs to support the growing macOS environment
+ Ability to communicate
+ Ability to organize and facilitate planning and demonstrations
+ Ability to track, manage, and ensure project tasks are completed in a timely manner
