Job Description

Portside Real Estate Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Director to lead and scale our growing marketing department. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing a clear marketing vision, strengthening our brand, supporting our agents, and ensuring our marketing systems and staff are positioned for success.


The Marketing Director will oversee all aspects of marketing strategy, creative execution, and agent support while building processes that improve efficiency and accountability. This role is critical to ensuring Portside continues to stand out as both an elite and kind brand while sustaining our rapid growth.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and own the overall marketing strategy for Portside, aligning with company growth goals.
  • Build KPIs and reporting structures to measure effectiveness of campaigns, agent adoption, and ROI.
  • Partner with leadership + collaborate with other departments to evolve Portside’s brand positioning, including expansion markets, new divisions and offerings.
  • Own and manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are strategically allocated.


Team Management & Development

  • Provide vision, guidance, and mentorship to the marketing team by setting clear goals, fostering professional development, and cultivating a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Evaluate team strengths, anticipate future needs, and help make strategic hires to support growth.


Brand & Creative Oversight

  • Ensure Portside’s brand is consistently represented across all offices and regions.
  • Create and enforce clear guidelines for standard vs. custom marketing materials.
  • Oversee design standards and elevate creative quality with professional training and leadership.
  • Manage vendor relationships for outsourced marketing and design projects.
  • Oversee community partnerships and PR efforts to strengthen Portside’s brand and impact.


Agent Support & Services

  • Streamline the process for agent marketing requests, balancing efficiency with personalized service.
  • Establish fair and transparent pricing models for custom work.
  • Ensure equitable distribution of marketing resources across all offices (Maine and New Hampshire).
  • Develop marketing training sessions and resources for agents to maximize adoption.


Technology & Operations

  • Implement and optimize marketing technology (CRM, automation, social media platforms, analytics tools).
  • Standardize project management processes (e.g., Asana or other tools).
  • Oversee reporting and dashboards that track campaign performance and agent usage.


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 in a leadership role.
  • Strong background in brand management, digital marketing, and marketing technology.
  • Experience managing creative teams (designers, content creators, coordinators).
  • Proven track record of scaling marketing operations in a growth-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Real estate or professional services experience a plus, but not required.


Salary : $80,000 to $95,000
