As a Scientist or Engineer involved in the production crystalline semiconductors substrates and diodes you will focus on execution and process improvements of critical materials for Infrared Sensors at Raytheon Vision Systems, a provider of leading-edge sensing technology. We are looking for an individual who must demonstrate a safety-first work routine. A scientist/engineer who supports various projects and initiatives related to production, process engineering, capital installation and facility modifications for cost competitive, single crystal substrates or diode manufacturing. As part of a multi-functional team, you will be involved in process improvements through critical metrology data analysis, equipment specification & support, tooling and the development of meaningful, trackable process metrics.
Developing detailed knowledge of production steps associated with single crystal substrate production as well as fundamental understanding of Epitaxial Growth Processes including related metrology is essential. Examples include: chemical polishing, precision sawing, materials handling in inert environments, wet processing (clean and etch). Through metrology you will assess process variability utilizing software tools, and apply advanced mathematical methods and statistical analysis, to assure repeatability in production.
Our projects and production require to be able to work in a controlled, clean-room environment as well as a fundamental understanding of existing equipment such as precision sawing, polishing and chemical treatments. You will work in a team environment that will require detailed communication to direct technicians and to interface with colleagues collaboratively. You will be participating in production meetings in addition to engineering projects. Understanding production goals with associated urgency of schedule is equally important to research and development.

**Qualifications You Must Have**

Job Summary
We are seeking a Microelectronics Product Manager to lead our microelectronics product portfolio
including Boron Ultra, M500e, M9e, and Checkpointe. Guided by the company strategic plan, the ideal candidate will drive growth of the microelectronic product lines by acting as the product champion
across the organization. The person in this role will define critical product and application requirements
and coordinate sustaining engineering priorities for the assigned portfolio. This position will support
consultative sales processes, train global sales teams, and develop applications resources. This role
gathers and prioritizes market requirements from customers and understands our competitors to be
able to define, develop, and release offerings in line with product strategy from the broader product
management team. This candidate is also responsible for maintaining accurate system information for

Qualifications

Position Title: Semiconductor Administrative Technician

Location: Chandler, AZ

Shift: M-F 8 AM to 5 PM.

Candidate will perform roles such as adding equipment to calibration lab database, outsourcing calibrations to subcontractors, communicating with subcontractors and customers, creating purchase orders (POs), and securing payment for calibrations. Candidate will be required to have the ability to use personal computer hardware and software. Candidate will also be required to maintain ISO compliance in all aspects of the role such as adding calibration certificates to database and the use of calibration stickers. Some degree of judgment may also be required in resolving non-standard problems. Duties may be repetitive requiring a knowledge of established Intel and department procedures. Work focus is generally performed within the boundaries of established processes or systems under general supervision. Candidate will be required to perform other duties as assigned or as responsibilities necessitate.

Description of Duties:

Make scheduling database entries, identifying work performed, equipment used and brief repair notes for equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, generators, torque, micrometers, and gauges.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

Must have a proven ability to work as part of a team and be able to effectively communicate with peers, supervisors, and customers which may include communicating to customers when equipment dates are slipping.

Minimum Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Candidate must have an A.A. degree in business, electrical, metrology or related field or previous military experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Metrology and or metrology equipment.

Experience working in a lab environment for measurement and test equipment.

Ability to communicate findings written or verbal through reports to engineers, and other customers.

Ability to work in a collaborative manner with a variety of different individuals in a fast paced, technical environment.

Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous environment where changing priorities are the norm.

Ability to navigate a database with these types of equipment: physical dimensional, pressure and vacuum, power supplies, low frequency AC/DC low/high resistance, RF power sensors and oscopes, wind tunnel/air speed and mass flow controllers (MFC), temperature and humidity probes and IR temp, as well as all types of torque.

Proficient on the computer in the use of standard software utilities such as Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic systems, controllers, power supplies, robotics, and RF generators.

  • Perform mechanical repairs on robotic systems, hardware changes, pneumatic systems, etc.

  • Continuous training, 40 hrs. / year minimum. (Job related)

The annual base salary range for this position is $4,000 - 105,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
